Terms of Use
Last updated: 20 May 2026
1. Nature of content
The Math provides mathematics reference content, worked examples, and editorial opinion. Content is provided for educational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes formal academic instruction, certified tutoring, or professional examination preparation services.
The audit service (Quick Look, Full Report, Live Session) is an editorial opinion service, not a formal academic appraisal or certification. Solutions are provided for educational use. Dr. Iris Vaughan does not authenticate academic submissions, write coursework, or produce work intended for examination submission.
2. Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of worked examples and mathematical content. Mathematics is exact — errors in our worked examples are unintentional and will be corrected promptly when reported. To report an error, use the corrections page.
We do not warrant that content is free of errors or that it is appropriate for any specific examination or curriculum.
3. Permitted use
You may use content on this site for personal educational study. You may not reproduce, republish, scrape, or redistribute content from this site in bulk without written permission. Short quotations (under 100 words) with attribution and a link to the source page are permitted.
Automated scraping of content for the purpose of training AI models is not permitted without a written licence agreement.
4. External links
This site links to Amazon, Gumroad, and external tutors and resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites. Affiliate relationships are disclosed on the disclosure page.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Math and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, content on this site — including any loss arising from reliance on mathematical content in an examination context.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be indicated by an updated date at the top of this page.
